Purpose and scope
Techio supports responsible business communications and does not authorize spam, deceptive communications, or unlawful promotional practices to advertise Techio, its products or services, or techio.io.
This policy outlines communication standards for Techio employees and for contractors, agencies, affiliates, and other third parties authorized to conduct promotional activities on Techio’s behalf. Techio aims to support these standards through reasonable internal procedures.

Promotional communications
Promotional communications must comply with applicable law, including requirements concerning consent, sender identification, advertising disclosures, contact information, and unsubscribe mechanisms.
Techio marketing emails must include accurate sender information, a valid postal address, and a clear, accessible method for opting out of future marketing emails. Techio will honor unsubscribe requests within the period required by applicable law.
Opting out of marketing does not prevent communications necessary to fulfill an existing transaction, provide services, or deliver legally required notices, where permitted by law.
Ordinary business correspondence
Responses to inquiries, service communications, and legitimate business correspondence may include a link to techio.io in an employee’s signature.
The inclusion of a website link does not, by itself, determine whether a message is promotional. Messages whose primary purpose is advertising remain subject to applicable marketing requirements.
Third parties
Third parties conducting promotional activities on Techio’s behalf are expected to follow this policy and must comply with applicable law and their agreements with Techio. Where practicable, Techio seeks to communicate these standards to authorized promotional partners.
Depending on the circumstances, Techio may work with the relevant party to address concerns, request corrective action, suspend promotional activities, or exercise available contractual remedies.
A reference or link to Techio in a message does not, by itself, establish that Techio sent, approved, or authorized that message. Where reasonably practicable, Techio may seek assistance from the sender or relevant service provider to address unauthorized use.
Reporting suspected abuse
Suspected spam or unauthorized promotion involving Techio may be reported to:

Where available, please provide the original message, sender information, date received, and full email headers. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Techio aims to review credible reports and make reasonable efforts to address concerns where practicable. Any response will depend on the available information, the nature of the activity, and Techio’s ability to address it. Techio may request further information and cannot guarantee an individual response, a particular outcome, or the prevention of activity by parties outside its control.
Policy administration
This policy describes Techio’s promotional standards. It is not intended to create a contract with website visitors or message recipients, confer third-party enforcement rights, or guarantee that unauthorized activity will not occur.
Nothing in this policy limits obligations or rights established by applicable law or a separate written agreement.
Techio may update this policy by posting a revised version and effective date.
